General Information

Scope
This meeting is a reedition of the two previous Black Holes Workshops which took place in Porto in 2008 and in Lisbon in 2009.

The aim of these meetings is to gather Portuguese researchers and researchers working in Portugal on mathematical and physical problems of gravitation, both in its classical and quantum aspects, as well as on superstrings, cosmology and astrophysics, and to stimulate the interaction between them.

Format of the workshop
The workshop will consist of contributed talks by the participants. The duration of the talks should be roughly 30 minutes.

Meeting Fee and financial support
Registration is free. There may be some support for the lodging of students and young postdocs who are not from the Braga region.

Dinner
There will be a social dinner Monday at 20:30 on Restaurante Conde de Agrolongo. Because there is no registration fee, the dinner will have to be paid by each participant. For directions to the restaurant see Location and Travel.
